I LIKE TEACHING AT SOUTHWESTERN BECAUSE: I like teaching at Southwestern because of the students. It’s inspiring to come in and see that the students have an innate desire to learn. The international diversity of students is also amazing because it’s great to see students from different backgrounds working with each other.
FAVORITE QUOTES: “Don’t bunt. Aim out of the ball park. Aim for the company of immortals.” – David Ogilvy “Do one thing that scares you every day.” – Eleanor Roosevelt
TEACHING PHILOSOPHY: I believe that every student has an innate desire to learn but it needs to be fun and interactive. Simply regurgitating the contents of a textbook forces students to learn but engaging them stimulates learning and creates lasting knowledge of a topic.
