Southwestern Academy Student Natasha Mazaeva received 2018 Congressional Art Award

Congratulations to Natasha Mazaeva who won honorable mention in the 9th annual Congressional Art Competition held at the Huntington Library on Saturday, May 19, 2018. The art competition accepted entries from within the 27th congressional district which includes 19 school districts and numerous private high schools throughout the San Gabriel Valley. Natasha was one of seven finalists in the competition. Natasha’s painting about women’s rights will be hung in Congresswoman Judy Chu’s Pasadena office for one year. Thank you to Congresswoman Judy Chu for supporting our young artists.
