Work on Genocide PROJECT JOURNAL
Using witness and survivor accounts, create your own journal as a survivor of the genocide. The completed journal needs to be 4 double-spaced pages.
- You must have an entry at the beginning of the genocide: what's going on around you - what do you see, hear, feel, smell, touch, and taste - remember imagery! What has happened to your family and friends, etc.?
- The other journal entries need to discuss events you "saw."
- If your genocide has ended, be sure to conclude with a discussion of the final days of the genocide - discussion ideas: how you knew the genocide ended, or if you feel it may happen again in your country?
