I like teaching at Southwestern because: I have the time to reach out to each student. Also, the diversity of our student body gives a unique perspective to teaching social studies.

My teaching philosophy: Each student has the opportunity to find his or her own relationship to the material. Through the classroom experience each student can begin to see what it is in his or her own life that will unfold as he or she grows into a young adult.
