2017 Solar Eclipse

August 21st 2017 US continent will witness a solar eclipse.  Total eclipse can only be observed from these states such as Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, and all the way to the eastern states.  California however will only witness 62% of the eclipse – partial eclipse.  This is one of those rare opportunity to see both beauty and science of our universe.  Event like this, we usually set up a binocular and telescope in our campus for students to witness the beauty and the science of solar eclipse.  All equipment will be using special filter to protect our eyes.  The eclipse will start around 10:15AM (PST) and it will last around 11:40AM (PST).  For more information on where to find a great location to witness full and partial eclipse go to NASA website.
